NECA SDCC 2020 Exclusive Predator 2 City Demon Promo Images

The City Hunter Returns

Just yesterday NECA revealed the Predator reveal for SDCC. This figure of the City Hunter Predator from Predator 2 from a very specific scene when the Predator is standing atop a skyscraper and gets struck by lightning.

This figure is very similar to the Water Emergence Jungle Hunter Predator that NECA released in the Predator line a number of years ago, I personally have that figure and it’s one of my favourite pieces in my collection. This figure is very similar in it’s paint scheme and I would love to add this one to my collection.

The paint deco is fantastic and the translucent parts look great too. I also really love how they’ve carried over the effect to most of the City Hunter’s accessories. I really love the look of the smart disc.

The packaging looks great too and I love the light up effect that’s a great touch!

I should add that this figure will be available at Walmart in the States too. What’s also great about this figure is that it’s affordable and will be available internationally from the NECA store later this month! If the import duty and shipping isn’t too expensive I would definitely consider getting this release!

Here’s the official press release from NECA:

lebrating the 30th Anniversary of the classic Predator 2 movie, NECA is proud to announce the City Demon!

This stealthy Predator is cast in clear plastic with lightning accents to capture his appearance climbing the towering buildings in 1990 Los Angeles. The figure features over 30 points of articulation, retractable wrist blades and articulated shoulder cannon. It comes with 5 interchangeable hands, discs, combi sticks, and a skull.

Comes in special 5 panel window box packaging that activates a lightning effect when open.
